|  Couture vs. Big Nog possible for UFC 101

The UFC is now awaiting a response from Nogueira’s camp.
Previously, Couture was offered a fight with Nogueira in the first half of 2009, but his role in Sylvester Stallone’s “The Expendables,” set to film in late March, got in the way.

Couture vs. Nog is definitely a fight that needs to happen. If the old Nog shows up I think he submits Randy, but if the Nog that showed up against Mir enters the octagon, I think Randy wins by dec.

Nog has better striking than Randy, but he sure seems hesitant to use it these days. In the end, this'll come down to Nog's guard vs. Randy's gameplan and ground n pound.

I didn't have much interest to see randy after his temper tantrum and hiatus. I really don't care about this fight.
I wish he'd have just stayed on his contract and retired when he should have.
