Tim Sylvia also is an unprofessional f*ck! A cry baby b*tch. Look at his interview from Sherdog. He was so upset with how little respect he received both from the UFC itself and from the fans. He even threatened to pull out of his rubber match with Arlovski if Dana didn't put him in as the final fight on the card. He doesn't seem to get it into his stupid head that nobody wants to see his ugly saggy ass jiggling all over the octagon. Poor b*stard! You can just imagine where he's gonna end up once his precious belt is gone. Probably back in the sh*thole smoky bars he used to bounce at.

He USED drugs to cheat, he doesn't anymore and he's the champ. I agree he has an arrogant attitude but 95% of fighters in MMA do as well. This is just used as anti-Sylvia bias.

In fact, it is a matter of opinion. For example, in my opinion AA and Vera are both better fighters.

Andrei lost twice to Sylvia. I've already told you, it pains me to say that. Arlovski is like in my top 3 favorite fighters. As for Sylvia, he is not my favorite fighter. I really don't like him that much, but give the guy credit. He deserves everything he has. He failed the drug tests, had to face the public humiliation from that, and was stripped of his belt. So what did he do? He went home, started training, stopped juicing, came back and lost a couple fights to Frank Mir (who was a PRODIGY at the time) and Andrei Arlovski (need I even mention AA's credentials?) and was able to do what VERY few other human beings could have done in that situation. He fought hard, stayed persistant and got his belt back. I was stunned to see AA get knocked out by Tim, but at the same time felt so happy for Tim to see him so pumped to have his title back. The guy's a freak and he's only getting better.

That being said, I don't think anyone should wear their belt everywhere they go lol.

In my opinion, he wasn't defeated in that fight. If the fight continued he would have won in very short order.

A defeat on paper? Sure. But is he undefeated? Yes imo, and I think most would agree.

First off, it is perfectly valid to dislike someone for their cheating track record. Second, I think there is strong evidence he still used drugs after he was caught (and there's certainly no evidence that he has stopped).

If you agree his attitude is bad, then you must understand why he is disliked. I don't agree that 95% of fighters have similar attitudes. In fact, I think he is one of a kind with some of the shit he comes out with.

Whatever though, you now agree that there is reason to dislike him beyond his looks.

Did Sylvia prove his superiority over AA in those two fights?

No.

As for Vera, again it is a matter of opinion. If Tim gets past Monson, he will face Vera soon and I see the fight going like this:

Dude, I agree with most of what you have said and knew as soon as I read

your post that you would be attacked and told that you were wrong.

Most of those who hate Sylvia hate him because of the way he looks and

give him no credit for his accomplishments.
