| Dana White says he has no knowledge of June meeting with Fedor Quote:
A recent interview conducted by DreamFighters.com with WAMMA heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko generated a great deal of excited from hardcore MMA fans as the former PRIDE heavyweight champion stated that he was to be involved with an upcoming June meeting with the UFC.
“… Me and my management hope to get a chance to talk to Dana White in person in June to discuss a possible fight between me and Brock,” Emelianenko is quoted as telling Adam Baker of DreamFighters.com.
During a recent interview with “Carmichael Dave” on the CBS Radio nationally syndicated show “MMAsh,” White was asked if he was aware of a June meeting with Fedor. “No,” White responded, before continuing, “If that’s true, that’s awesome. I’d have to hear that from him to believe it. But if that’s true, I’d love to meet with him. I’d love to.”
White has been publicly critical of Emelianenko and his management in the past, but has softened his tone in recent interviews. White’s appearance on the “MMMash” was no exception, as the UFC President indicated that he saw photographs of Emelienanenko’s dramatic first round knockout of Andrei Arlovski during last month’s “Day of Reckoning” event.
With Fedor now having recorded victories over five former UFC heavyweight champions, White is as interested as ever about bringing him into the UFC. “I’ve said this a million times, if Fedor’s guys want to talk to me, I’m here,” he remarked.
White even went so far as to suggest that Fedor would instantly become the number one contender for the heavyweight title should he sign with the UFC. “I’d bring him right in and he’d get an immediate title shot." | Source: Dana White says he has no knowledge of June meeting with Fedor

Many Russian fighters don't like the UFC style of business, Sergei is another one.
Actually there are NO Russian fighters in the UFC....
Fedor
Aleks
Sergei
Zentsov
Suloev
Semenov
Kiril Sidelnikob
nada...I think the Cold War still exists lol

ive read this in many news reports and other mma forums dont know about any truth to it but it makes alot of sense, is that the stronghold the russian mob has over their sports industry along with just about everything else over there isnt void of contact w/ mma or its countrymen

Fedor will never fight in the UFC. It's a lose lose for both parties, Fedor can make more money elsewhere, and it doesn't benefit the UFC at all to co-promote. I can see where both parties are coming from, it's just not going to happen. I'm sure we'll have another article saying how it might in another week or two though.....
