Yeah the judging was bad.

I thought that Sanchez won the first round and lost the last 2, but round 3 was close so I will not argue with the decision, but 10-8 in a round? Which one?

I recorded the fight on my DVR in August and watched it about 100 times since. I do believe the third round could have went 10-8, depending on your opinion. I am not a Diego fan, so without being biased in any way, Diego clearly won that fight. Now that 30-26 was wrong. The first round was to close to call , but if I had to say I would say Diego took it, only because of the first minute or 2. Second round clearly Karo scored a 10-9 on Diego. Third round Diego all the way. He made Karo look like his bitch in that round, he pulverized him. Karo gassed bad, and that was his downfall. What ever judge scored that 30-26 should get fired , either that or be shot. And who ever posted that round 3 was "close to call" (shumk) should also be shot , what fight were you watching??..........'PIZ'

ive seen the fight 3 times now and to me the fight could have went either way, the only round that i believe deigo truly won was the 3rd and no way it was a 10-8 in imo, but im not a judge but really i think the fight could have went either way, i think the first round was about the same so maybe a 9-9 round second was 10-9 not for sanchez and a 10-9 for sanchez in the third so i think the fight should have been a draw

This reminds me, I just read an overview of the Penn vs. Hughes II fight in Grappling Magazine and Cecil Peoples gave his opinion on the fight. It says to the word, "The first round was tough to score. I gave it to Matt, based on his aggression and his attempts to knuckle him up, but it was close."

What fucking fight is this guy watching? This dumbass needs to be fired, I'm sick of his shitty ass judging/refing...

All the current NSAC judges should be changed. They know nothing about mma - we would be better off with ice skating judges.

There is no mma fan, not even the staunchest of Hughes fans, that could give that round to Matt or even a draw. His quote there should be the final nails in his and the rest of those boxing muppets' coffins. How the hell UFC is allowing this farce to continue is beyond me. I can only guess it is to do with $ and politics.

git.

thanks dude!

and as far as Cecil Peoples judging of Rd 1 of Hughes/Penn II...i rest my case on his idiocy. when i saw his ref the Quarry/Sell i knew we had a tool on our hands. sure had it gone any longer im sure Sell would have been TKOd, but it just looked like an even worse case of Tito/Shamrock II. Peoples is a total dumbass when it comes to being a ref, being a judge, and mma in general! i guess BJ is lucky he did get injured cuz he'd of probably been screwed had it gone to a decision.
