Mirko CROCOP Filipovic vs Fedor Emelianenko has been, and still is been talked about, not as a historic fight, but a possible and future fight.

If you read the papers in Japan and Croatia, they speak as if this fight will be happening anytime now.

With recent confirmation comming out that DREAM plans to host a Open-Weight Grand Prix, with fighters such as Fedor and Mirko entering, you just know the FEG will pair them up with “assured” wins in order for Mirko to face Fedor anytime within the GP.

Croatian News site Index.hr reported today that DREAM has confirmed talks that will create a OWGP, and Mirko will be fighting in it, however Mirko has yet to confirm his Blog, or partnered news site Croatia NOVA.

Bad move for CroCop here, he does realize who he's fighting right? It would be best for CroCop to string together some wins before challenging Fedor again.

CroCop would get destroyed if they fought Fedor again. In his last 5 fights he is 2 and 2 with the 1 no contest in witch Overeem was destroying him. I just dont think he has it anymore. I think Overeem would do better against Fedor then CroCop could.

Fedor/Cro Cop 2 is pointless given how Mirko's looked the last 2 years.

I'm much more interested in Fedor/Overeem.

*Yawn - sorry but I see no point to this fight. Crocop has dropped down to being a low-lvl HW... Fedor has been on a tear. I'd much rather see Fedor fight Overeem in a OWGP.
