Affliction only putting on 2 cards a year you put one of those in Asia its hard to gain public interest.

If I were Affliction I would have it in Japan but have the event start at 12pm Sunday in Japan while it would be 7pm Pacific time and 10pm Eastern time.... LIVE... How come that wouldnt work?

Easy answer to the Title.
Only if you want to make sure no one but hard core fans see it in America. And, only if you want to make sure both stay relatively unknown in America.

How big is PPV in Japan? I know they sell out huge arenas, but do they purchase a lot of PPV?

Obviously both of these guys draw big in Japan, but would it be a good buisness move when they are struggling to make profit here in the US? I don't think so.
But you know, you just never know.

But you know, you just never know. | They'd sell out the Saitama super Arena for SURE!!! What I was thinking, this might sound a bit crazy but for Afflictions NEXT PPV, they should have both Tito vs Babalu and Fedor vs Barnett, but have most of the card here in the U.S. LIVE!!!! with the co main event being the Tito/Babalu fight... Then back live to Japan, host the Fedor vs Barnett fight on the same PPV event... which would be at a decent hour Sunday afternoon in Japan.
How does that sound? Profits in the U.S. AND JAPAN??!?!!

Well considering the MMA market in Japan right now is shit then I would have to say no. And that's just one of a laundry list of reason why doing Affliction 3 in Japan would be retarded.

They all come on live for FREE on cable. Paying for events is a rather ridiculous concept unless you're used to getting screwed like we are in this country. Imagine paying for the Superbowl, NBA Final, World series and you NCAA games. Watching sports should be free, damn it!

Only people with Satellite dish's can get it and the vast majority of people in Japan only have major network channels. Essentially the free channels.
