Hes crap! end of fuckin story | Great post, Sylvia couldn't beat any of the top 5 HW in Pride. He's champ due to a very lackluster UFC HW division. Hopefully Aleks Emelianenko comes to the bolster up the division and beat down big Tim for the belt, asuming he gets past Monson tho.

thats what people who like tim sylvia need to realize. the UFC HW division is pretty much crap right now and when it comes to the top guys in the world Tim Sylvia doesnt stand a chance in hell of beating them.
Personally i think he fluked the second fight against arlovski and in the 3rd fight arlovski fought far to defensive

Tim Sylvia is a champion because HE BEAT someone for the title. While not on the same level as guys like Fedor, Mirko, Barnett, et al, he does have talent. Sure, he's a sloppy fighter. But from what I have seen of him, sloppy or not, he has gotten the job done.
The particular division he competes in may be shallow in terms of talent, but he has beaten most of the people thrown into the octagon with him. The guy shit his pants once. Ever think you had to pass gas and a solid started to creep out? Accidents happen.
Having said that, Fedor would absolutely demolish Tim. I do see the fight going 2 rounds with Fedor winning via submission.
