who do you think is the pound for pound fighter in the ufc?

Our poll guys aren't the greatest at spelling names. Not the greatest at best polls either, where's Fedor, Penn, Gomi, Silva, etc. etc. etc.?

Difficult to say as Chuck, Hughes & Franklin have been so dominant in their divisions. Without the champs I'd give it to GSP, but I have to go with Chuck on his recent record.

Yeah, I wanted to pick GSP too because I think he'll beat Hughes in the rematch, but he hasn't yet so I voted for Hughes. I have Liddell #1 at 205 right now, but still think Silva, Arona, Lil Nog, Shogun, Babalu, etc. and so on could give him trouble. I'm not saying if he fought all those guys I'd bet against him in every case, because I wouldn't, even in most cases I wouldn't. But he's not the CLEAR CUT best in his division yet, and until he is I can't pick him over Hughes, who clearly is - until the GSP rematch, the best at 170. Franklin might be a clear cut best at 185, but still if he fought Henderson, I'd pick Henderson by TKO or decision so (in my opinion) he too isn't clearly the best in his division either.

I'd choose GSP.He's amazing.He's not only defeated some of the best ,but dominated them.He dominated sherk and trigg and was dominating hughes untill he made one small error that hughes was able to capitalize on.He definately won't make that mistake again.and Rich is nowhere close to being the best.He's extremely over rated and theres a number of guys at MW that could easily take his title.He has a weak chin.Just ask Tanner or the crow they were able to knock the champ down ,but were unable to capitalize ,but there's a number of guys at MW who could capitalize.

Franklin has a weak chin?

Liddel's been rocked bady by Mezger, Overeem, Rampage, I wouldn't say Chuck has a weak chin. Silva's been put on his ass more than most.

Who in the MW can take out Franklin?
Henderson, maybe, I doubt it though, depends who gets tagged first.
Tanner has had his ass handed to him twice by Franklin & Loiseau was not at the races in his fight with Franklin.

Horn, again depends if he fights his fight & not stupid like against Chuck2.

I'm not a Franklin fan, but give the guy his dues, who's gonna beat him?

I don't get the Franklin weak chin thing either. Sure he's been rocked before, but it's not like the guys who rocked him are cupcakes. The guy has only been beaten once. That speaks for itself. Even Fedor's been rocked a time or 2, and he's a cyborg!

Yeah, Fujita rocked Fedor I don't see people saying he's Mr. weak chin.

Anyone gets tagged on the button - which is exactly how Franklin was touched both times, and you're gonna be rocked. Much like Silva though, Franklin may get rocked but recovers immediately and dominates afterward.

Great counter-argument from Alvin about Liddell's chin and him being rocked a bunch before, but then he said the classic Horn fought stupid against Chuck. WRONG. He was simply unable to fight his fight, he tried, just couldn't. Nothing wrong with that, a bigger (in terms of physical size) man nulified his attempts at taking the fight into his realm. Nothing much you can do about that.

Yeah Horn put up a pretty good fight with the champ.He lasted 4 rounds with chuck that's more than a lot of fighters can these days and even won a round.I have him winning the 3rd round.And as far as guys at MW that could beat Ace..Where do I start.Horn could submitt him,Leben could KO him,Lee Muray when he's not robbing banks or KOing tito in streat fights would fuck rich up,Ryoto Machida would beat Rich again.Theres guys out there.and as far as comparing Rich Franklins chin to Fedor or Chuck is fucking ridiculous.Fedor was able to take Mirko Crocops brutal left head kick and keep fighting theres no chance in hell Rich could've tooken that.
