I agree, this guys not the only one that thinks Sherk can beat him.. Gomi is the best LW currently in MMA (kid isnt techincally in MMA now) yet he really isnt treated as such.

That's because most people don't watch Bushido or have seen his Shooto fights before that, so they only know him by reputation.

Kid Yamamoto is scheduled to be at K-1 Dynamite! NYE show. I know he's supposed to be retired for now to concentrate on wrestling, so not sure if he's fighting or just making a public appearance.

Jui-Jitsu is about LEVERAGE his strength means nothing, like stated before Gomi walks around at 180 so he can match Sherk in size. Did you see the Kenflo fight? Kenflo is one of the weakest fighters in MMA, yet Sherk couldnt finish him. Hughes is much stronger then Penn yet... Hughes couldnt take him down! Gomi has a wrestling background dont think it would be that simple for Sherk to take Gomi to the ground, and its odd that you say Sean Sherk has a strong chin when the only fighters hes fought with standup thats close to Gomi's is GSP.. and GSP TKO'd him. Gomi beats Sherk standing, standup isnt always about KOing someone. On the ground Gomi also has the edge, and overall Gomi is too explosive, too dominated of a LW for Sherk to beat him.. the guy couldnt even finish Kenflo!
