| Gomi is overrated
I dont kno wwhat you guys think but i think Gomi is very overrated. I thin k a hand full of UFC LW could easily handle Gomi. Sherk, Fisher, Melvin and maybe Stevenson could all take Gomi out. I thiink Fisher could 1st round KO him even with a five minute round. Any thoughts?

fisher has a nice little highlight reel, but all in all he's not that great of a fighter. stevenson's lost a lotta fights he shoulda won and melvin is just budding as a serious fighter. sherk might have a chance, but gomi is an amazing fighter and pretty much a living legend. i really have to wonder what you're basing this boneheaded theory on.

I apologize concerning the earlier post, I normally am able to control the urge to be a . Now Gomi has only been defeated by a handfull of top tier fighters. Johanson, Penn, and Aurellio(ok so Aurellio is not exactly top tier) has any of the mentioned fighters other then Sherk even fought that level of competition. Sherk is the most impressive that was mentioned and his stand up would not survie, and dont sleep on Gomi's wrestling. Seriously what do you base your theory on?

It's always funny when someone calls someone overrated, and doesn't give any reason. lol Gomi is 26-3 with wins over Kawajiri, Azeredo, Aurelio, Mach Sakurai, Stephen Palling, Jens Pulver, Jean Silva, Rumino Sato, Mishima(who will beat your boy Stevenson in a couple of weeks), Ralph Gracie(gave him his 1st MMA loss), and many more.
How is that overrated? Fisher would KO Gomi in the 1st round, yet he couldn't beat Sam Stout lol ummmm ok. Good luck with that one.
You should actually watch fights and do some research man. Not saying Gomi is unbeatable, but he's definitely not overrated. He's the best LW in the world right now.
BTW, aren't you the guy that said Rich Franklin would KO Anderson Silva in the 1st round? Yep, that was you!

Sherk and Stevenson will not have their usual size advantage, as Gomi walks around at 180
Fisher and Melvin would be fighting a better striker with an iron chin
