Because he won that stupid Tough Enough contest, which means he gets an automatic 1 year contract. But he hardly ever was on TV unless to get his teeth kicked out and made to look dumb.
The guy basically is a dope and could've done well for himself if he weren't such a moron. But he's probably better off in MMA anyway.

He gave it ALL UP, because he hated the 300+ days a year of travelling and wrestling and living out of a suitcase.

Hey you can talk all the trash you want about pro wrestlers, however that is a hell of a job. Even if the matches are choreographed, it would still hurt like hell. People say MMA fighters have to be crazy for what they do, however an active fighter competes maybe 6 x a yr and that is a hectic pace. I dont really watch wrestling to much anymore, as you get older it just becomes more painful and you can feel your IQ ooze to the lower regions of the scale. However I do respect the amount of pain and punishment they take to give a show... once again though it is a show. Puder's main claim to fame was a questionable kimura v. a pro wrestler that IMO has no real sub training. Angle was a ridiculous amatuer wrestler, but that does not train for defense v. BJJ. I think if Angle hada the time and desire in 6 months of training he could beat Puder(not Liddell, ot Tito  ) or anyother entry level fighter. Puder is a entry level fighter as per only having 3 pro fights(as per Sherdog)

ill bet he probably tried it once, long ago, got his ass kicked cuz it was in the script, and then turned to fighting where no one can script an ass whooping LMAO
