What do I think of Puder..... Well actually other then the Puder v. Angle thing, I dont not really. He has a total of 3 fights w/ 1 decision, and two submissions(as per Sherdog). I have not seem him compete v. anyone worth mentioning. And although the article submitted states it will be a explosive opponent no name is mentioned. He trains in AKA, and they have been training some solid upcoming fighters(including fellow Strikeforce competitor Southworth who will be fighter Vernon "Tiger" White). He could be the next big thing, or nothing. I will see him fight eventually and then evaluate him. But because of the Puder v. Angle I probably will get the fight online, I dont think the event itself will be on PPV. However there are other matches I am rather excited to see. Cung Le v. Jason Von Flue(I loved seeing Flue get triangled by Riggs), Gilbert Melendez, and Josh Thompson will all be great.

The Puder/ Angle incident was a joke. They sent the kids out to amateur wrestle with Angle, the olympic gold medalist. WRESTLE is the key word. They said nothing of submissions. Puder locked in a kimura when Angle wasn't expecting it in true bitch fashion. Had it stayed purely wrestling, Angle would have owned him, and he probably would have even been able to avoid the submission if the thought of being put in that situation even crossed his mind. It is kind of funny/ ironic though how Angle was supposed to go over as the bad ass on TV, and Puder ended up stealing that thunder. The thing is, these kids were supposed to be on the show and respect the established stars. Puder won the contest, but God only knows how awkward it was being in the locker room after that incident. Politics play a huge part of pro wrestling, and Angle has about as much authority as you can have. I think that led to Puder being canned by the company. So pretty much Puder just screwed himself out of a million dollar deal. (literally)

It was a keylock and angle was already injured when Puder stepped up and challenged him. Basically Angle talked a lot of smack to all the guys and didn't expect anyone to step up to his challenge. Puder did and taught Angle tha he should keep his mouth shut. Had angle not been injured who knows what would have happened.

Puder is just a douche. He basically pissed away a ton of dough because he wanted to show up Kurt Angle. He had potential to do big things, but one stupid decision and now no one cares if the guy fights or bags groceries.

But Puder was with WWE for at least another 4-5 months AFTER the incident with Angle. Why did it take that long for WWE to fire him?
