I don't know *what* to think about this! I think Ranallo is the best MMA announcer... I like him for the same reasons I think Jim Ross is a great WWE announcer. There's a certain energy in his voice that adds to the experience. (For all you WWE fans, to see what I mean, just hit the mute button next time you watch wrestling, and tell me how it turns out).

PRIDE... wow, congrats! You've lost your two most unique and recognizable voices, Bas and Mauro. Who could possibly take his place and do a better job? ... even an on-par job? Just crazy.

I don't know where he fits. I'd love to see him in UFC, but I don't think he fits with Rogan. I think he makes a better centerpiece, as opposed to an appendage like Randy Couture in the UFC. But who knows. IFL maybe?

I'm really beginning to dislike this Millen guy. 1st he gets rid of my favorite play-by-play guy in Stephen Quadros, then he gets rid of my favorite color commentator in Bas Rutten, now Mauro is also leaving because of him. I didn't like Mauro at 1st, but he has really grown on me. He's definitely gotten better over time. PRIDE USA is fucking shit up for the PRIDE company. They really seem to do things piss poorly.

In all honesty I would rather see him go to WFA and replace that Golberg! On a serious note, I am sure he wil find success elsewhere.
