...so yes we will see a Penn/Pulver II at the season finale of TUF 5 which will be in late June or early July. I'm not sure why Penn stated in an interview just a short time ago that he was going to go for his dream and regain the WW title instead of moving to LW.

| BJ Penn
BJ Penn has always wanted the lightweight belt lost to pulver by a decision pulver quit, had to do a 4 man tournament penn had to fight Uno to see who get the belt they gave them both a draw and haven't brought back the lightweight till recently. Penn knows he can easily beat Pulver so he wants to do that get a shot at the lightweight belt get the belt and then move up to welter weight for a title shot so he can be the first one with 2 different weight class belts.

gsp is young, he is already alot better then deigo, and with them only being a year or 2 apart there both going to get better but gsp is just a natural and will continue to get better, i dont really see deigo ever beating gsp

i been thinking about this and initially i was thinking that diego should take a couple of more fights before stepping up to the likes of penn hughes and gsp, but look at the list of his most rescent fights:
win Joe Riggs UFC Fight Night LIVE 12.13.06
win Karo Parisyan UFC-Fight Night 6 8.17.2006
win John Allesio UFC 60 05.27.2006
win Nick Diaz UFC-Ultiamte Fighter II Finale 11.05.2005
win Brian Gassaway UFC 54-Boiling Point 08.20.2005
win Kenny Florian UFC-Ultimate Fighter Finale 04.09.2005
almost all of them have been or are considered top contenders, why shouldnt diego be given a shot at the number one contender spot? who else is he going to fight in order to prove himself? i say let him fight penn winner gets a shot at pierre...hell let him fight hughes and then penn

diego deserves a title shot. but he probably shouldn't risk getting beat to death by st. pierre. he should fight koscheck again so koscheck can shutup

florian was fighting at mw and he is a lw, diaz shouldnt be in the top 10, karo is his best win and wasnt a clean win, riggs is no where near top of the food chain Brian Gassaway haha he sucks, and john that fight was boring as shit, yeah he deserves his shot, but he isnt good enough to win
