I am hoping GSP wins but is anyone else concerned that he has had an even longer layoff than Franklin? I just hope he doesn't have the rust that Franklin did.

its a different situation in the GSP fight though. franklin was just coming back. GSP and Hughes ahve some bad blood

The great ones will tell you with no hesitation that you dont win it in the game, you win it in the preparation. GSP is more focused, more prepared then ever Matt Hughes better bring his A-game otherwise he'll be on the recieving end of a beating.. I hate to make this comparisson but GSP reminds me of a reverse Frank Trigg, in terms of stand-up they both punish people, in terms of ground game maybe Frank Trigg is to wrestling what GSP is to Jui-Jitse, difference is and what makes GSP a better fighter is that he doesnt get sub'd easily, and hes more well-rounded, better gameplaner and just all around more physically talented.. but hes a rich man's Trigg and Hughes worst nightmare cuz he will hurt Hughes, and hurt him bad. Go Raiders.

This UFC 65 event would be worth every penny if both members of MFS get their asses kicked and dethroned. Let's go GSP and Monson. I'm still not all that sold on Monson but regardless, gotta pull for the midget. Hopefully he doesn't pull a Babalu and disregards his wrestling skills in an effort to turn it into a striking match. Use the skills you have, don't try to be something you're not. That's the biggest mistake any fighter can make.

yea i totally agree....but i dont think monson will make that mistake. i must know it would be stupid to try and throw with tim...i say he tries to take him down right away........
and i do think GSP will come in in the best condition we have ever seen him in
