PRIDE signs former K-1 HERO'S fighter Yoshihiro Nakao
Dream Stage Entertainment have announced the signing of former K-1 HERO'S fighter Yoshihiro Nakao.
The 33 year old Nakao, a two time All Japan Emperor's Cup wrestling champion in 2001 and 2002, was signed in 2003 by FEG and K-1, debuting against Georgian Olympic judoka David Khakhaleichivili that New Year's Eve. Since then, Nakao has gone 4-0 in mixed martial arts competition, including wins over Don Frye and Wesley "Cabbage" Correira. Now, in a sudden change of scenery, Nakao has signed with Dream Stage Entertainment and PRIDE, hoping to put his MMA career on the fast track.
