it amazes me that people think BJ is lazy just because of his recent fight with GSP and people taking his interview out of context.

Anyways, I didnt watch much of the TUF4 at all. TUF is all about finding potentials and TUF4 just didnt fit that bill for me with all the mediocre fighters they had on. I would watch TUF5 just to see BJ as well.

I can't speak about BJ specifically, but I know this not to be true 100% of the time.

I trained a guy once who was just a "natural". He picked up every technique the first time we did it, and could use the new technique when we practiced live the very same day he learned it. He was just that phenomenal. The very first day he was hanging with my 3 year students, and after a week or so he was consistently beating them.

However, he was lazy: he didn't like conditioning because he knew he didn't need it. He could beat everyone even when he was out of shape.

I can't help but think this is but an attempt to avoid training. BJ has said in past interviews that he has abandoned traditional training methods. That is going to get him in big trouble, especially when he has to battle someone like Sherk (or anybody really) for five whole rounds.

BJ needs to wake up and take training seriously if he wants to be a real contender for a belt...
