Wow, since when was Big Lips a racial thing. I did not know Black people where the only ones with big lips... come on man get real. The guy has big lips and huges made a joke about. I have big lips too and people have made comments about them and I am white, that is more of just a picking on thing then a racist thing.

The French thing, I dont see as a big deal. I know that is not PC or whatever. Hughes isnt going to try and be a PC guy so why act surpised when he says something that isnt PC? Come on, do you expect a red blooded farm boy to be PC? Think about it. People need to just stop looking at every comment someone makes and try to make it racist.

I am not condoning Racism either, if Hughes came out said something really racist I would be all over the guy. I just don't see those two comments as racist.

Oh and back to topic. I don't see what everyone likes about GSP. I just dont. After beating Sherk, a guy he had a huge reach advantage on, he gets on his knees and begs for a title shot. Shut your little whining mouth. You will get your title shot when you earn it and now he has earned it. Something about the guy and the way he acts after he wins just rubs me the wrong way. The whole I respected Hughes too much excuse, not buying it. You where carless and left your arm hanging, hell anyone with some expierence in BJJ would have hit that Armbar on you. I think that whole "I am not impressed with your perfomance" is typical GSP, not a typical. Do I really care that much, no. Because I think he will be impressed after Hughes GnPs him into submission.

yeah, that was pretty weak! gsp is a very soft spoken dude. he doesn't deserve to be caught up in all of this hype, and i am sure he had no intentions of it going that far. he seems like a real stand up guy. and i think he'd make a great champ! time shall tell.
