| Gsp's Just Misundertood
See the UFC put GSP on the spot last night. That poor fricken guy! I dont think he has a mean spirited bone in his body. He just doesnt know how to say what he is thinking. That whole "I'm not impressed by your performance" thing. I dont think he meant to be a dink. He just has a hard time saying what he means. The UFC is making him look bad.

| GSP misunderstood
I disagree. GSP is a very bright guy, and he knew he would needle Matt with that remark. And let's face it, he was just saying what everyone who saw the fight was thinking....

He meant what he said. It was just that Matt Hughes took him way too seriously when everyone watching on TV knew it was GSP's attempt to create some drama. I guess it didn't didnt help the fact that Matt was being dominated by BJ until Bj broke his rib. In any case, most people would have laughed it off i think.

compared to the absurd and vulgar things that are said in the boxing world this little exchange of words b/w GSP and Hughes is laughable...UFC marketing teams put the spotlight on it to make a few extra bucks on the ppv and reading these threads over and over proves that it seems to be working

The guy should be able to say whatever the hell he wants about Hughes, he's fighting him, it's not like they're brothers.
I agree with what GSP said about Hughes being more disrespecful to him then he has been to Hughes.

I was surprised that Hughes took it that seriously. He usually shrugs all that stuff off.

I love how everybody totally bypassed "French fighting spirit" and "Big Lips"comment from Hughes like its nothing...
I was actually a Hughes fan until I heard that shit makes you wonder what he really says when he's hanging with his good ol boys Militech, and Sylvia
No place for racial comments anywhere just makes things become personal instead of competitive and professional
