|  Tim Sylvia: "I want to fight Fedor"
In a recent interview , UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia talked about his plans for after the UFC 65 match with Jeff Monson.
"I want to fight Fedor."
"We're the two champs, we're the two best in the world in our weight class. I want to prove I'm the best.
"When all the talk was happening with Wanderlei (Silva, about a potential match with UFC light heavyweight champ Chuck Liddell), I called Dana (White) and told him to get a match made with me and Fedor. Dana said 'slow down, let's do things one at a time.' I know the way things are and I know this is all politics. If it could happen I know I want it and I know Fedor would take the fight.
Found this on another forum, dont know how reliable the source.
Can anyone confirm this?

Yea he's been calling him out for a while. If you think about it what does he have to lose?? Nothing! He he wins praise god, he's the greatest ever! If he loses by a bad beating, everyone will just say, see i told you he couldn't beat him and not thinking nothing of it.

He has nothing to lose, only something to gain really since nobody see's him as a threat to the top PRIDE HW's. Just throw this fight with the wishful hopings list along with Chuck vs Wandy. Fighters want to fight but head ups in organizations are so tied up in politics.

I agree with you guys.....if he loses, so what? It's not like we don't know the PRIDE Heavy's are better then UFC's. And IF he wins....it'd be huge for him and one of the biggest upsets of all time.

Of course Tim wants to fight Fedor he's got nothing to lose what so ever, if he loses everyone goes yeah great we knew that would happen, if he won or even made a proper match out of it, public opinion may change slightly and Tim given some of the respect he may actually deserve.
Im not a big fan of him as a person or fighter but the guy just does his job and beats who ever is in front of him, not a lot else u can ask of a fighter.

man i am a big fan of sylvias... but if some how he did fight fedor..........i really dont see him winning
