Haven't been watching personally but the most exciting fighter I ever saw in the octagon was hands down "The Phenom" Vitor Belfort. Anybody can talk trash on his downfall but in the early days he was one of the best fighters on the planet. He was the first guy to make Tank look like nothing! It personally makes me warm inside seeing he's won his last four fights and the phenom is on his way back to the top! Lets see what he can do at affliction 3, which to me is absolutely the biggest card of the summer!

Matt Lindland vs. Falaniko Vitale

I believe they fought again and Matt mopped the floor with him. Vitale said that it was because of precise movements that he caused Matt Lindland to slam him on himself... BS, but funny though. I'm sure it made an already angry Lindland THAT much more angry.

I wouldn't necessarily call Affliction 3 the biggest card of the summer...

I enjoy watching the Affliction brand, but to me it's kind of like comparing WWE to TNA wrestling. Sure wrestling is fake, but WWE has the biggest stars and have the ability to make their own, while TNA just kind of sits and waits for a well known star to get in trouble or be released by WWE. Aside from Fedor and a select few, I think that Affliction is a minor brand who uses established UFC fighters to draw potential new fans. UFC 100 is going to be the biggest card of the summer.

i havent seen any of these 3 yet so im going to take a shot and further my guess. still griffin/ bonner 1 as #1 lidell/wandy #2 and griffin/bonner 2 #3. i was really surprized that sanchez/guida didnt rate higher than it did. i would have had it probably #4 position.

I would still like someone to qualify what makes a fight great. So many of the fights in this countdown were one sided. That is not a great fight if you ask me. A good example are the 2 Franklin Silva fights. I really like to watch both of these guys fight but their fights against each other were bad fights. To me a good fight is one that goes back and forth were both guys come close to finishing the fight. Just about every Lytle fight should be on the countdown as well as most of Marcus Davis's fights. It looks like one of my favorite fights Nate Diaz vs Kurt Pelligrino was left off the list. It should not be about the names it should be about the performances.
