It's been on the MMANews main page since yesterday. Geez you guys, the Sherdog forum is siting MMANews for the information and you guys haven't even looked there. That's kinda sad.
Thanks for putting up a link for Loiseau's myspace page UFCfanatic. I looked for it last night and couldn't find it in a search of myspace.

But forget his distant past and think about this; what did he do in his last fight to prove that he wants to be in the UFC?

Absolutely nothing! The last round is a different story. I felt that if it went another round, Loiseau would've got the TKO. Unfortunately for him, the fight was a 3 rounder. He definitely went with a crappy gameplan for the fight.

I found it interesting that he's now working with Vera. Have they trained together before?? Has he stopped training with GSP?

i dont understand Dana's/UFC's thinking. The crow is a premier fighter that has dropped to fights in a row....to the champ at the time and the now arguably #1 contender. I dont see how they justify his release. He is normally a very exciting fighter with a huge fan base and they just cut him?? Yet someone like Nick Diaz for example dropped 3 fights in a row...all non title, against fighters not even in the top 3 in his division....and he's still getting PPV matches. Boggles my mind. UFC better start appreciating the talent they have and use them or open their fuckin wallets and start tryin to get some of the worlds best from other organizations. Big loss for UFC here.

Two decision losses to top MW and you get the axe..Yet you have guys like Diaz and Riggs who is fighting the #3 ranked ww who cant keep winning streak alive for more then 2 fights. And there are many more fighters such as George Gurgel and so on...
But if its a matter of economics and that Dave wasnt accepting what the ufc offered (5K per fight) which is a possibiliy...
Final thought dissapointing..good fighter on a bad streak feed him a lower level fighter and let him get his confidence back and get the crow of old back.

Nick Diaz won a fight outside of the UFC before he was brought back in and I coulda sworn he took the Neer fight on short notice.

It definately wasn't anything with his contract because he was in the middle of one with this release, so this was all UFC just letting him go. He did get beat badly by Rich but that's Rich he's still a great fighter regardless of the Silva fight, he can do that to most people in that division. The Swick fight i'm sure was lack of confidence causing him to be a lot more tentative than he actually is. He showed in round 3 what happens when he's not tentative, he started dominating the fight, just too late. This is a horrible move by the UFC, unless there's a hidden story to it, there's no reason for this. It's not like they have a very stacked 185lbs divison.

I mean he looked like hell... the man needs to continue to train. he should beat a mike swick fighter everytime he faces him... i mean he didnt even work his clinch. i would love to see Brandon Vera Get him straight and come back to whoop up on Anderson Silva. hes a lost fighter right now.. and he should be a top 3 fighter in the world with his potential... but hes not producing as he should. he riminds me of what vitor belfort has become and if he dont get his shit straight hes gonna be that kinda guy.
