I know you're not judging his performance in the Franklin fight so you must be talking strickly Swick which also means your judging Loiseau basically on two bad and tentative rounds of ONE fight? Come on now, shouldn't a fighter have a couple back to back bad performances against just decent/ok level competition before being critized that he's in some kind of slump? 2 rounds of one fight is hardly enough time to throw judgement out on him. He shouldn't have been let go already , period.

I agree that the UFC made a huge mistake. David is an excellent fighter and is still young. And it's not like the UFC was paying him big bucks, I can't see an reason for letting him go. That's a big shame.

Oh wait, maybe the UFC released him right before the GSP fight to screw with GSP's mind, his best friend getting the axe might shake him up. I'm just kidding, but we do know how much the UFC loves matt hughes.

I'm definatly goning to miss watching loiseau fight in the UFC but him been let go just doesn't strike me as that bad of a move to me. I just don't see who there was left for David to fight in the UFC that would've made a good match up. I would like to see him beat Ed herman and Chris Leben but I don't think he wold'v gon hat high up the division again .

I dunno. Crow's performance in his last fight showed something was clearly lacking. I thought he would go on and destroy Swick. Instead, he didnt put up a fight until he had to in the third round. Maybe fighting against lesser fighters at a smaller venues will put a fire back in his heart. I dunno how the contracts work in UFC but this must be a money issue since Crow is quite a popular figure in the UFC.

OK Franklin won the fight v. the Crow, but how long did he need of to recover from the heavy hands of Loiseau. Loiseau if Im not mistaken had two fights by the time Rich had one, no disrespect to Franklin he won. A very bad move for the UFC, however one mans trash is another mans treasure. Loiseau has a lot of room to grow, and hopefully a smaller outfit will pick him up. If he trains w/ Rob Kaman and Vera and is able to use those different skill sets with his skills now.... Good Times ya know.

Crow looked really bad against Swick, it was like he wasn't there at all, until the last round.

But 1 absent fight really doesn't warrant a cancel.

'There must be more to this.. why keep people like Lutter (watch Trevor Prangley eat through him) and get rid of Crow who had 1 bad fight?

There must be more to it...maybe he bad bouthed the UFC or something or wanted more $.

I hate when ppl bash organizations. Mainly the UFC bc ppl around here do it ALL THE TIME. But I have to admit I feel the same way right now SASK.

It's not so much that Loiseau is some kind of monumental loss. It's that they have made it a regular practice to get rid of good fighters after a loss or two so they can make room for fighters with less talent but with more marketability.

Fuck! It just makes me want to change my handle to Supreme and make 100 Pride nutthugging threads. (Not really)
