Guy Mezger vs Chuck Liddell(Pride 14).
Guy totally picks apart Chuck here, and hits a huge punch to knock Liddell on his ass. By round 2, Guy forgets what made him win in the first, and stands there to trade with Chuck. Of course, he gets KO'd.
Guy Mezger vs Alexander Otsuka(Pride 12).
Guy destroy's Otsuka in little to no time. Guy was a really underrated fighter, and it's a shame he'll never get his props. The guy(No pun intended) was such a great striker, and was decent on the ground. Really well rounded fighter.
Gary Goodridge vs Naoya Ogawa(Pride 6).
This was absolutely pathetic. Not because of Goodridge, but because of Ogawa. Ogawa can't even apply a keylock properly, so he spends about 1 full round trying to get it on. Goodridge tried to make this fight interesting, by escaping out of certain subs, but this was just pathetic. I have a soft spot for Big Gary, but even I can't defend this tripe. Ogawa is so awful.
Gary Goodridge vs Oleg Taktarov(Pride 1).
Ah, Pride 1. From the incredibly boring(Kimo vs Severn) to the outright pathetic(Kitao vs Jones) to the incredibly fun(Oleg vs Goodridge). Goodridge just unloads on Oleg, and turns his face into cherry cobbler. The word Vicious can't even begin to describe the KO. I have a soft spot for Oleg as well.
Jason "Mayhem" Miller vs GSP(UFC 52).
Miller takes an absolute shitkicking from Georges. There's one part where Miller tries to be cute and does a kip up, and Georges just casually kicks him in the face. Miller's a tough guy, and he pulls out a few cool sub escapes. This was the kind of fight where both men came out looking great. GSP came out looking dominant, and Miller came out looking like a tough bastard who won't give up.
Jason "Mayhem" Miller vs Robbie Lawler(Icon).
This is my "Non UFC and Pride" FOTY. The crowd loves Mayhem, and they chant for everything he does. Miller takes a total shitkicking(Again) in the second round. Lawler just unloads on him with stomps, knee's, and punches. Miller comes back to win. Insane fight that had Miller playing the resilient role.
So, what are you watching MMA wise?
Discuss.

Sakuraba vs Vernon White(Pride 2).
I watched this and Newton vs Sakuraba back to back, and I think I like this one a little bit better. This was just a lot more fun and it didn't seem too much like "Hey, we are putting on a grappling match for the sake of putting on a grappling match!". Vernon White was always a really good fighter, and he shows that he does have a ground game here. Saku showed why he is one of the best fighters ever.
Allan Goes vs Vernon White(Pride 9).
Goes lays on White for a while. This was the complete opposite of Sakuraba vs White, as White looked horrible on the ground in the first round. Quadros does a Tony Montana impersonation here, and I'm wondering why people think he's the greatest commentator ever. Vernon blasts downed Goes with a nice kick to the face. That is about the only exciting thing in this fight. Goes was sooooo channeling Mark Kerr here, and he did absolutely nothing but lay on White.

LiL Nog was able to get really good fights out of both men. The Nakamura fight inparticular. Nak just sort of bores me, but LiL Nog was able to make me give a damn about him.
Cro Cop vs Kevin Randleman(Pride Total Elimination 04).
Ok, I'll admit it, I dug Mauro's hyperbole induced shriekfest at the end. I feel that was one of the only times he was useful. Oh, Kevin, you are wasted potential. Well, I'm sure everyone has seen this, but it's still shocking to watch.
Diego Sanchez vs Shannon Ritch(KOTC).
It's Diego Sanchez against Shannon Ritch. Yep, it ends pretty fast as well.
Joe Doerksen vs Brian Foster(IFL Gracie vs Miletich).
Ok, so I really dug this one. Foster was the "Guy with really ugly tattoo's" who almost beats a veteran. Doerksen had some trouble here. Foster is so the Akira Shoji of today.
