They will never be title holders and will remain decent fighters throughout their career.

When the dominant faces are gone, the new faces stepping up to dominate will be new to us and not these UFC up and comers. Fedor was already a sick fighter before he went to PRIDE, watch Chuck fights from back in the day, you coud tell he was great back then and was going to become a great fighter so you see the dominant names in MMA right now were already dominant early in their career, not up and commers who will become decent fighters 5 years from now, it is a wasted effort for UFC to try and build on these type of fighters.
who's to say that none of those guys would be champs? another one you left out was Bisping...ill bet he's a champ someday. Matt Hamill could be a champ as long as he keeps up with training on his BJJ and striking, like ALL THE TIME! it's just ignorant to say that everyone who is gunna be great in the future will be new to us, like from another country or something...that's stupid.

No no.... You missed my point. I did not mention Bisping for the same reason that I did not mention Diego, Rashad, Kos and Swick and it is because those guys will be great fighters and it was evident the first time I watched any of thier fights as they were already highly skilled prior to their UFC signings and the reason they will have great success in the UFC and/or anywhere they choose to go is because they all have a ton of natural athletic abilities and will have a well rounded game, they can all strike and play the ground game effectively-dominantly and that is the future of MMA, there will be 0 champions that are able to hold onto the belt consitantly that are strictly wrestlers, strikers or grapplers within a year or 2.

Leben's, Herman's, Groves, and all of those other fighters that are decent now and have SOME potential are never goign to be great.

You can just watch their fights and know that they do not posess what it takes to become great fighters. You could even put them in BTT, Chute Box, Red Devil, ATT, MFS, etc. and it will imprive them but will never make them great fighters. Look at Sperry, Shembri, Landi-Jons, etc. all decent-good fighters and train with the best camps in the world but will never become great becasue you must posess natural abilities in order for a world clas training camp to bring you to the pinnacle of your career.

Look at the fat guy Josh whatever his last name was that fought Bisping for the TUF title, he will never be even a good fighter, same with Rory singer, Soloman, Abadi, Gurgel (great conditioning and JJ but no power in his standup, similar to Sherks but Sherk is a dominant wrestler, Gurgel is not dominant at anything and not well rounded).

It is not like the UFC and everyone else is not aware of this, the UFC is simply using these decent fihgters that will never become great as fillers right now and they will be dropped from the UFC as time goes on, trust.

And Hammil will never become champion I assure you of this.

i agree about Gurgel. i do think he was some what screwed against Hominick...but then he almost lost to Abaddi, which gives him no excuses. ill give you credit on some of those names you mentioned...but as long as GSP, Hughes, and BJ are around, Kos and Diego will never be champions. Swick has a shot as does Bisping.

i agree with you about Leben and Herman...their attitudes alone show us that they'll probably never scale the mountain, but i think you're wrong about Kendall. although i find it hard myself to see him as a champion, i can at least see him getting a shot one of these days. we can never say no one will be a champion until their career has ended and they've never gotten a belt.

Yes I agree with that, Grove has the tools being his size so if he could learn world class striking he could be a huge force, if he stays with Team Punishment I don't see him ever reaching his potential as a fighter, same goes for the rest of Tito's camp.

They all have phenomenal conditioning and Tito is one of the best cornermen as he always knows exactly what to do in every situation and is alwasy able to see weakneses in the opponents game.

Most recent case I was really impressed with Tito's coaching was Diego vs Karo during the break after round 1 where Tito told Karo to throw the jab and keep on throwing it, Karo did so and to great effect in round 2, he landed it a ton of times.

who cares?!?!? they're both gonna be bad ass!!!
i am just a little bummed that prides is actully on new years eve. that just doesn't seem like a great marketing plan as far as competition. oh well, i'll try and catch it the next day.

but that is great that the bisping vs. schafer fight has been added to the 66 card. this is gonna be one kick ass event! bisping should be coming into this fight with a ton of confidence and great shape since he has had so much time training. bisping by tko.
