Default Is Andre Arlovski down for the count?

I have noticed that some people feel that Andre Arlovski is on his way down in the MMA ranks. People have said that he has glass chin and is a waste of potential. It seems that people might be counting out Arlovski a little to early.
Has Arlovski done all that he will do in the world of MMA? , Is it over for Arlovski,? Does his two consecutive losses to Tim mean game over?

Well I don't feel that this is the case at all. AA is a great fighter, with a boat load of ability and talent. He was the UFC champion for a reason and until his first loss to Tim, was thought of as unbeatable. Now AA has lost two fights in a row to Tim, and some people don't give him the benefit of the doubt. I think we should see what happens with the Cruz fight in December and then make judgments. AA made a mistake in that first fight and it cost him the title. Arlovski didn't preform well and was injured in his second fight, and that cost him his career? I don't think so.

I think wee will see the old AA at UFC 66. I think that he will dispose of Cruz and begin his climb back to the top of the UFC. I believe that sooner rather than later Arlovski will be back on top of the UFC HW division.

Arlovski, in my opinion is one of the top, if not the top pound for pound fighter in the UFC. I just think the two sketchy losses to Big Tim have binded some people to the fact that Arlovski is an MMA Animal.

How about "Beats Cruz and works his back up the UFC ladder." That would be my write in vote.

Default Agree

Yeah, I have to agree with Supe. I doubt he would go to Pride and I doubt he will completely disappear. My best guess is he gets a solid victory over Cruz and works his way back up to title contention. If Monson happens to beat Sylvia, that would be huge for Arlovski. Because I highly doubt we would ever see a Sylvia/Arlovski IV! My best guess is he fights the winner of Vera/Mir next. Or if the UFC wants that winner to be the no. 1 contender he fights the loser. Either way, Arlovski vs. Mir or Vera would be an interesting fight. Aight!

Who wants Aleksander E. to come to UFC to shake things up? I do I do!

AA is still very good. I just don't think people respect how good Tim Silvia is. They think oh he got beat twice by Tim so AA must not be any good anymore. But the truth is Tim is an animal and it takes alot to beat him. AA will rebound.

aa vs the winner of vera mir, is a step down say if vera wins, he is still undefeated and is on well if he wins this fight a 4 fight winning streak and aa has lost his last 2, i wouldnt even say he gets the loser of this fight he has a good 3 fights before he gets a title shot again

He's too talented to not be back. He's only 26 too! I still believe that if he gets a true camp and iscolates himself and is focused, he'll be the # 1 heavy by 30. People get on him for his jaw but i think he's so elusive when he's on his game that people cant touch it anyway. As long as he sees the punch coming, he should be fine with takinng a shot.

I don't think it is a step down fighting Arlovski. How can you believe that?
Arlovski is an animal. If Vera fights Arlovski and wins, that would only build up Vera in the MMA world. Beating Mir is a great accomplishment,(if he can) but beating Arlovski is a much bigger step in the right direction. Like I said, if Vera wants to do it right, and work his way up through ALL the top talent in the UFC, then he needs to fight Arlovski.

Arlovski will not be a easy task for Vera, and I would personally take AA in the fight for sure.
