| What do you think about fighters trying to end fights with elbow cuts.
Do you feel fighters that try to end a fight by cutting his opponent with a elbow are cheep fighters. Do you think that if you are using elbows that it's just part of the game? Do you think that there are some fighters that try and get wins by one elbow that cuts open the head? Do they do this because they feel they can't get it done any other way?
I think that there are good arguments for both sides, and I personally think that in many cases it depends on the fighter. I believe that some fighters try to end it quick with a cut, which sucks in a lot of cases. The only problem is that if you allow the elbow to the head as a rule, then that is what comes with it.
Can you blame a fighter for trying to get the win any way he can?

IMO the blood does add to a fight in a gruesome way.
But I think fighters are starting to just look for that and it sucks when it ruins a good fight.
I think elbows to anything but the head would be a good middle ground.
Forearms to the face would be better and less costly for the fighters.

my personal opinion it should be like boxing, if an accidental cut happens the fight should go to the scorecard.
but elbows are part of the game so if a fighter gets opened up due to an elbow and the fight is stopped, its a TKO victory and a fair and square victory.

i think elbows are fine, but i think fighters who just look to cut them open and win off that is wrong, prime example is kenflo, i swear he was gonna cry when they let sherk contiune to fight , he knew that was his only way of beating him

You could tell when he elbowed Sherk his sole intention was open up a cut in the area around the eye. I dont mind elbows being used as partof someone's arsenal but if they are using it to purposely open up a cut to end the fight, that goes against what MMA stands for.

I'd be inclined to use every weapon and legal means possible to win.

I think it is kinda cheep if that is all they are going for. Almost as bad as trying to stale out a decision.
