I think Liddell would be KO highlight at HWT and by that I mean that he would be the getting KOed.

Liddell has been fighting nothing but grapplers with poor to average striking at LHW. Then you put Liddell in the octagon with AA who is probably an overall better striker then Liddell. Stronger, and has great KO power. Plus Liddell idea of backing up and counter punching may not work because AA would not be going for takedowns and could be likely to just plant his feet in the middle of the Octagon and swing.

Slyiva would be a worse fight, because he has a much longer reach, so he could just jab Liddell to death. Negating any of Liddell explosive power because he can stay just out of reach.

I think he would still beat Monson and Kongo. Vera would KO him, because he is a cleaner striker then Liddell and his reach adavantage like Slyiva would negate Liddell's explosive power.

Eh I desagree on Liddell becoming a KO highlight in the HW division. Regarding AA.... he's got a glass chin as we've seen, all Chuck would need to do is set up AA so he comes in at him and then counter strike. Of course thats easier said than done but just stating that if he connected doing that it would be lights out for AA.

his chin is glass, but his movement makes up for it.. he got KO'd in his first fight cuz he stood there and took the hit.. Rizzo KO'd him big time but it happened in the 3rd round, and we saw what happened in the Tim Sylvia fight but Chuck doesnt have that kind of reach or size advantage... I cant picture Chuck knockin out a guy that outweighs him and has a reach advantage when he moves like AA does.. Chuck takin one of his punches is unthinkable too.. thats why I think Chuck shouldnt fight AA.

Yea, but he does not have the reach AA, or most the HWTs have. All the HWTs are just as strong if not a lot stronger then Liddell. And most have very good KO power that is up there will Liddells. Plus none of them would try to take Liddell down, which is something Liddell is not use to at all. A guy that is willing to stand there and trade punches. So Liddell just would not be the force he is at LHW, so if I was him I would stay with the wrestlers that cant strike. Rather then moving up to take on the guys that can.

Either way I wouldnt count Chuck out completely, not even his opponent would be that cocky to do that. Plus you and I both know we'd pay to watch this go down. You have good points though. I think after Chuck KO's Tito in December he will answer some of the questions on what is next for him in the post fight interview.

I was trying to find stats on AA's reach vs Chuck's reach. All I could find is height and weight basically off of sherdog. Chuck- 6'2'' 204lbs, and AA - 6'4'' - 240lbs. Looking around at other HW's Chuck really isnt too far off in reach. For instance Vera and Cro Cop are both 6'2''.
