Remember chuck walks around between 220-225, so he would only be 15-20lbs lighter than most HW. He can take a person to teh ground, so dont just assume he will try to strike with someone like Sylvia. I think he will do similar to what Wanderlei does in pride against HW.

Chuck would KO Arlovski! Arlovski has no chin worth anything. I don't think size would make a difference and I don't think Arlovski is a world class striker. Tim o the other hand would put Chuck to sleep. He's to big and too strong, Chuck wouldn't be able to hit him. Chuck and Frank Mir would be interesting. IDK, just my 2 cents.

chuck would be good at hw if he adjust his style a little bit meaning, we hear he has great wrestling skills, so probally need to use takedowns, and just move around more and be more careful with his punches if he did that id bet all my money on him over aa

If Chuck Moved Up To Hw I Think Chuck Would Change His Game Plan A Bit. I Think He Would Use More Leg Kicks And More Ground Work. Chuck Could And Would Ko Most Of The Hw Div. And I Think With Proper Training He Could Ko Big Tim. As We All Know Chuck Has Bad Ass Ko Power, He Does Have Quick Hands, Great Kicks And Great Wrestling! His Ground Game Is Rarely Seen Because His Hands Are Soo Lethal But It Is There.
If Randy Could Do It, Chuck Can. Alot Of People Like To Bash Chuck For This And That But The Fact Of The Matter Is He Is A Great Fighter With Mad Heart And I Think Hed Do Good Against The Ufc Hw's.

There are lots of great strikers but I wouldn't call them "world class" as they do not possess the aspects of world class strikers .
That being said, there are a lot of peopel that would give Liddell a a difficult fight and I would assume Liddell SHOULD be the underdog vs AA, Sylvia and Vera (some may think me saying Vera is a bit of a reach, but trust, the guy is phenomenal). |
WAT HAVE YOU SEEN OF VERA THAT MAKES YOU THINK HE IS SOO PHENOMENAL??? VERA HASNT IMPRESSED ME MUCH, HES BEAT SOME WEAK HW'S IMO AND I REALLY DONT THINK HES EVER BEEN TESTED...

He suplexed a guy onto his head (like Dan Severn did to someone in the early UFC days) then later yanked the guy into a guillotine then lifted him around a foot off of the ground while still holding the guillotine then suplexed him over the top.
He is extremely fast and deceavingly powerfull.
What about Vera has not impressed you? He dominated both of his UFC fights, the competition was not the best though he still dominated so that is not such a justifiable reason to not be impressed, he hasn't exactly shown any holes in his game in those 2 fights.
