I wouldn't want to be Serra right now. In my opinion, Serra cannot win this in a orthodox manner. If he is going to stand a snowballs chance in hell be had better get creative.

This is how I feel it should go down.
GSP vs. Serra
WINNER - GSP
Hughes vs. Diego (No. 1 Contender Match)
WINNER - Hughes
Penn vs. Parisyian (both coming off losses)
WINNER - Penn
Koscheck vs. Fitch
WINNER - Fitch
Diaz vs. Jack Shields
WINNER - Shields
These would open a lot of things up and figure out who is the best at 170.
Or how about taking a page from Pride and having a WW tourny? That would be sweet!

That would be sweet! | Koscheck and Fitch will never fight each other, they both train at AKA. and Karo is fighting Fickett at the next UFN, so a fight with Penn isn't gunna happen. Plus Shields isn't even in the UFC. you have some good ideas, just not realistic ones...LOL

I didn't know Fitch and Koscheck trained together. Well...maybe Diaz could fight one of them and if the UFC was smart (which sometimes they prove they aren't cough*cuttingloiseau*cough) Shields should be signed immediately!!!

is hughes going to fight again? he has been winning by the skin of his teeth the last few fights and his one deminsionality was exposed handily by gsp. hughes should retire or take an extended vacation from fighting to develope his standup. right now, imo gsp and bj are the best ww in the ufc with several other up and comers closing in. ww is the best division in the ufc so lets focus on some of these newer fighters and layoff hughes. he had a good run, now let move on.
