The only way Vitor doesn't beat Anderson is if Hendo gets to him first. One way or another Anderson is losing soon.

I feel faster hands would pose a threat to anderson. Forrest looked like he was in slowmo when anderson was dodging his punches like nothing. Who has anderson fought who has had fast hands?? Franklin doesnt have tremendous speed, neither does Henderson, Leben, Irvin, Leites.. Marquardt has somewhat fast hands but not consistent. Vitor poses the best threat to the middleweight crown. I'm not saying Vitor will beat Silva but it will be a good fight. If Vitor wins he gets a unanimous decision cuz silva's inactivity and Vitor presses. But i'm gonna predict Silva tko in the 3rd.

Ya I think people are underestimating Belfort if they are confident Silva will run through him. Belfort/Franklin was the first time we've ever seen Franklin just destroyed by a single punch; the guy is usually very durable, and the only other times we've seen him get his ass kicked was by getting countered over and over by Silva and Machida.

I'm a huge Wanderlei fan, but he is definitely not the same fighter, he's much more tentative, and he seems to have lost some strength and explosiveness. I bet a Wanderlei/Vitor fight would be pretty similar to Rampage/Wanderlei 3.

I think Anderson will win, because hes just a beast the last 5 years. But you can never count anderson silva out.

good point. anderson hasn't fought somebody with anywhere near the handspeed of vitor. Sure hendo has knockout power in his right but vitor has power and speed in both. Vitor has to pick his shots early and land a few. I believe that is the key to victory. so far anderson doesn't respect anybodys power..vitor has to change that early in the fight to set the tone. It wouldn't hurt if vitor played posum after getting tagged then exploding on anderson when he goes for the plum. i can see that happening.

I just hope vitor's mental state in the fight can hold up. Anderson can kill you mentally then picks you apart physically when you're already defeated in your mind!
Time spend with tony robbins wont hurt either before the fight. (my opinion of course)

uuugghhhh - has anyone here even seen how evasive Anderson is??? Not saying Vitor dosen't have a chance, that would be naive, but you're throwing your money away on Vitor no matter what the odds are.

Shogun is paying $4.35 here to Machida's $1.19....I was tempted for a minute until I smacked myself in the head and said d'oh.
