| Wanderlie weighs in on Anderson and Belfort Wanderlei: Anderson Would ‘Destroy’ Belfort Quote:
Wanderlei Silva has fought Vitor Belfort and trained with Anderson Silva. Should Anderson and Belfort meet in the next UFC middleweight title fight, Wanderlei has no doubt about the result.
“I believe Anderson would destroy Belfort,” he said. “I think it’s a very interesting fight. Belfort has good boxing skills and is a good athlete, but everybody knows that he has a weak psychological aspect and I think he will shake when he gets in the Octagon with (Silva).”
Added Wand ironically: “Let’s see if (Belfort) will put his new karate ... I mean old karate, new for him, in practice against Anderson.”
It’s been nearly 11 years since Belfort blitzed Wanderlei in 44 seconds at the UFC’s "Ultimate Brazil" event. Now that both men are in the UFC again, Wanderlei is certain the rematch will finally take place.
“Of course we will fight,” he said. “I want this fight too much. I believe the first one didn’t happen as I wanted. I was surprised, and it will not happen again now because I’m much more experienced. I’m not saying it will be now or later, but when it happens, I’ll prepare myself a lot to be in my best shape because he is a tough opponent, and I want to give the show everybody expects from me.”
While Wanderlei wants a fight with Belfort, his animosity toward Anderson has ended. The former Chute Boxe teammates, who took aim at each other publicly when Wanderlei announced his intention to move to the 185-pound division, met backstage at UFC 102 and mended fences.
“We met and talked,” Wanderlei said. "It was a big misunderstanding and it was solved the way men have to solve any problem: talking face to face. Anderson is a great guy, and we finally put a period on that story."

Pride Wandy > Belfort
Belfort > Current Wandy
Anderson > Both
Anderson finishes Belfort, destroying body and mind.
Belfort finishes Wanderlei (Even after loss to Anderson)

I think Wandy of today still ruins Vitor. I think their styles right now lean towards a sickening mauling akin to that Jardine bout.
Wandy only ruins Anderson via a lucky strike, but I don't think he'd be out gunned akin to an Okami or Nate might be.
Then again, I'm a total Wandy Homer.

I think Vitor is going to beat Anderson. The last time Anderson faced a good striker it was Cote. Everyone knows Forrest cant smash a grape and thats why Silva wasnt scared to get punched by him. I just think Anderson will play it very cautious like in the Cote fight and Vitor will explode on him.
As for Wandy I really hope he can make a run at 185. In the Franklin fight that was at 195 it seemed as if the weight cut really drained Wandy in that fight. Now in his next fight he will have to 20lbs instead of 10. I think if Wandy is going to make a run at 185 he will have to come in agressive like he did in pride when he was a killer. Wandy just isnt agressive enough now.

He just seemed weird for that fight and the Thales fight. I am not extremely familiar with Belfort but he looked good in the Franklin fight. But still i have to give it to The Spider because he is just that damn good and I always root for him.

Vitor looked good in UFC 103, but do you guys think he's really ready for Anderson Silva?! I don't think so!

vitor will be anderson's toughest test to date. if anderson doesnt use caution when standing up with vitor, hes gonna be put to sleep in the first round
