"Shaolin" To Take Eighth Tournament Spot At 8/5 HERO'S?
Vitor "Shaolin" Ribeiro has confirmed his likely participation for K-1's August 5th HERO'S card.
The former Shooto Welterweight Champion Ribeiro recently spoke to members of the Brazilian sports media, and said that he will likely fight on the August 5th K-1 HERO'S card at the Ariake Coliseum. "Shaolin" said that while he doesn't know who his opponent will be, and hasn't officially signed a contract, negotiations indicate that he will indeed compete. Ribeiro also didn't specify whether his participation would make him the eighth fighter in the HERO'S 70 kilogram tournament quarterfinals.
