What are your thoughts on GSP moving up to 185, I mean he had to cut 15 pounds for this in a day, so he could easily make the weight. Plus I dont think he'd lack all that much in reach and what he did lack he could make up with his speed and movement. Thas jus me though, your thoughts?

No way on earth GSP could beat Franklin or Silva. Franklin is way too big and strong, and Silva is just a complete and utter monster.

No real reason for him to move up in weight, especially now. His body size is very well suited to the weight class he's in now. His size and reach would be less of a pronounced advantage if he went up. Unless he holds on to the WW title for a long time and tires of that, I just don't see him moving up.

Exactly. No reason to move up right now, ntm Silva would prolly ko him with ease.

I think he will hold on to the belt in WW for a while. I also think that Silva and Franklin would be way too powerful for him.

I hope his title defense go well above Hughes number of title defenses. Man, he looked good.

I remember reading before the fight how some thought that it might have made sense for Matt Hughes to move to 185 - the same Matt Hughes that
was dominated by GSP. funny how initial sentiments go......

It would not be a real smart move on his part to move up. He just won the WW belt and should now focus on a long reign. If he can get past Matt again and with BJ moving back down I see him holding on to the title for a long time.
