Irvin looked alright in parts of the fight....but some of the stuff he was doing had me wondering about him.

Like giving the guy his back multiple times....if that guy was any etter Irvin would have been choked out in no time. He has a long way too go...and I don't think he'll ever be a title contender, but he could be a middle of the pack fighter in the UFC.

If Ramirez didn't keep his hips so high when he had Irvin's back this thread would be irrelevant. IMO Irvin will never be a contender but a fine stepping stone for up and comers to shit kick. At least he is cut and all inked up so a casual mma fan might think he isn't a pussy
