Default Not Cryin' Over Spilled Milk.......Just Wondering
In the GSP v. Matt Hughes fight, the talk turned to Matt's previous title defense against BJ Penn and that Matt was having trouble taking Penn down. Randy mentioned that Penn 'blew his wod'. If Penn seriously had an injury as it was reported by his website and him (in post-fight interviews), why wasn't that brought up?

Because when you speak of Matt Hughes you can only speak of nothing but his dominance of everybody, regardless if the person has a broken rib or missing leg.

Really though it isn't smart to say at a PPV event about the champ that he won because the other dude got injured. It isn't really smart business.

Sure it is smart. Especially since Dana White is all about business and the news to the casual (non message board) UFC fan of Penn's injury would only spark more interest in a possible rematch between Penn and Hughes.

they're not gonna bring up penn's injury until he's ready for a rematch. when the rematch is gonna happen that's when penn will say "i was beating him until my rib separated" and then they'll cut to hughes and he'll be like "bj just can't take a defeat. i beat him fair and square and he has a hard time admitting it cause i'm matt hughes and i'm the greatest fighter in the world and my standup is better than his and he was in no way dominating me"

...or something like that

You assholes need to stop acting like you know Matt Hughes. He probably would say that Bj just can't except a loss and it's true but damn everyone acts like they know what Matt's about and they act like he gets lucky every time he fights someone.

hughes is a solid fighter. he doesnt get lucky every time he wins, but when he beat bj, that was luck cause he was getting owned. hughes is a good fighter and i never tried to take that away from him, but he's a dick. bottom line
