technically, he has some of the worst standup i've seen in MMA, especially among the guys that are called strikers.
he keeps his legs wide and flatfooted for balance. this makes him easily succeptible to leg kicks, and not as light on his feet.
he keeps his hands low, and his chin out, looking for the KO. this makes him easy to hit.
his jabs and setups are just lazy, he might loop it to a lazy hook, but normally he just bats at their head
the thing is though, if you decide to step in and throw a leg kick, or throw a combo at his exposed chin, or move your head away from his lazy-ass jab
he throws power, and knocks you the fuck out.
Chuck is using a style tailormade for the UFC, and for every guy that is primarily a grappler. he circles his opponent and takes the center of the cage. he uses his wrestling to stop any shoots, and if taken down, he just gets back up ASAP. then he just beats the hell out of their shitty ass standup
if you want to see what real standup does to chuck, watch Rampage vs Chuck, and the first couple minutes of Overeem vs Chuck, or Metzger vs Chuck. he might have KOd them, but outside of the hail mary punch, he really cant keep up with a good striker | You have no idea what you're talking about. It seems like you are just on here to try and establish yourself as an internet fighter, but all you spit out is rehearsed bullshit hoping to get everyone to agree with you. Chuck has an unorthadox style that makes him extremely hard to strike against. Looking pretty doesn't make the striker. Chuck is very smart to use his standup style, because his punching angles are very hard to pick up on, and is the reason why he is able to knock people out; he gets the punches in there at angles that people aren't used to defending.

Oh dear me, I'm very sorry. How could I ever disagree with the great AJL! After all, his knowledge has lead him to many backyard victories in Arizona.

Chuck has alot of natural ability but its also the training he has done at the pit. John Hackelman does not play around. He has built alot of that punching and kicking power that Chuck has.

chuck is good at what he does, has he improved his strikeing in the last few years, idk because he hasnt faced anyone thats a great striker or a pretty good striker to tell, but chuck has a weird style its hard to study him to train for him, his angles are always different , i just like to watch him fight,
