Gurgel is not good enough of a grappler to win with quick subs to be honest, I've watched almost all of his fights, and he is a guy that fights for the fans. He has built a career on being an emotional fighter that gets into crazy slugfests, and he might not win all of his fights but he puts on a good show. I always appreciate guys who fight like that; Gurgel, Lytle, Paul Taylor, etc, who care more about putting on a show then winning.
