I never understood why eveyone is so down on Dana White. The UFC would be gone by now if he didn't come in and rescue it. If everyone is so confident they know better, then why don't you start a leauge?

The NSAC wouldn't sanction mma as a sport because of Zuffa's contacts on the board, and as soon as Zuffa bought them out they got sanctioned.
However, I am not saying Dana has done a bad job or that I 'know better' (what the hell does that mean anyway?)...

What would be the next level? There is only one major leauge in the US and their it. Is this another Pride is the greatest argument? And what did Dana say that was stupid? he may have said something that is non-existent at this point, but that is what all fight promoters will do at some point or another.

git. | Who was fooled? What the hell do i care what someone on TV has to say? I thought it would be a good fight, but the truth is we've heard romours and have speculated, but we really don't know what is going on with the fight. For all we know it still is going to happen.

I commend him on getting the UFC to where it is now but I think they wont budge from where they are. Pride is a whole 'nother story, Pride is already a better organization then the UFC, if they started competiting with them in the states, it would put the UFC at 3rd place.

Pride vs. UFC has turned into the old AFL vs. NFL argument. Until there can actually be a way to prove it, no one really knows what is better in regards to the actual fighters. As far as a format Pride is horrible. The lights, the announcer, the commentation, the ring, the presentation, the leauge president all have no class. It's a bunch of lights and noise. I'm not saying anything bad about the fighters of Pride, and I don't believe you are saying anything bad about the fighters of the UFC, but as far as an organization I have no interest in Pride.
