The lights, the announcer, the commentation, the ring, the presentation, the leauge president all have no class. It's a bunch of lights and noise. I'm not saying anything bad about the fighters of Pride, and I don't believe you are saying anything bad about the fighters of the UFC, but as far as an organization I have no interest in Pride. | How long have you been watching Prize fightign and how old are you?
You dont like the lights??? wth??
The Commentation is much better then the UFCs, the Ring is better, and the Presentation is better.. please dont tell me you dont like the presentation because its in japanese need I remind you that Pride fights in Japan and they appeal to Japanese audiences?
The Pride fighters are much better, they have the right match-ups in Pride, the right rules, they know what there doing
After Liddell-Ortiz 2 can you name one other matchup that holds any interest? the UFC has ran out of match-ups because of DANA WHITE
where-as Pride keeps growing.
The UFC marketing is so childish, and there competition is running low.. they need to make changes.

The UFC marketing is so childish, and there competition is running low.. they need to make changes. | You mean like Butterbean, Mike Tyson, and the WWE. Those are some interesting matchups. You don't need to remind me they are in Japan and that is who they appeal to, because I am not Japanese and am not appealed to.
I'm 30 and I never counted how long I've watched Pride for. I have a life and don't hang on goofy personal Stats how long I've watched TV program for, but I bet you know how long you have since all you have to do all day is write over 3000 in post in past month or so. Get a life Jewfro Samurai. You're just some scared white kid who lives in his mom's basement that has never participated in any sport let alon some form of fighting.

That has been clear ever since you barged into this topic and dragged it a mile off course unnecessarily.
Actually 'nuthugging' wasn't a gay reference. Funny how gay jerking off popped into your mind so readily.
Oh, and I don't have stringy arms btw
ur... goodbye

Haha. Pride Vs. UFC yet again. I love UFC and I love Pride. I watch more of UFC than Pride and I spent more money on UFC than Pride. But no one can deny the fact that Pride is just a better MMA organization. As already mentioned, better fighters, better match ups, and much more honest in presenting their fighters than at UFC. I am not bashing UFC or nuthugging Pridfe but just being objective.

The UFC marketing is so childish, and there competition is running low.. they need to make changes. | Afro what happened?? I was just beginning to agree with you on most of your posts. There's no need to rip this guy apart based upon his opinion on mainly subjective matters.
The commentation, presentation and ring/octagon are all matters of opinion. He can have his, you can have yours. And you certainly can't fault him for wanting to have his MMA presented in an American format.
I believe the Pride fighters are overall better for 2 reasons. One - UFC is only just coming into legitimacy in America whereas Pride has been embraced in Japan (and had a television deal) for years before the UFC. Two- the UFC is smart in trying to develop more Americanized fighters because it makes it easier for the American audience to embrace. However these fighters are still green but in 2-3 years the fighters in the UFC will rival those in Pride.
The UFC has less established stars so no wonder we aren't looking forward to anything past Liddell/Ortiz 2. Hell we only know 2 of the fights on that card. I guess I'm looking forward to Sylvia/Vera already...
I don't think you can deny that the UFC is growing.

No offense to anyone, but I don't credit any dork in a chat room (that's all of us) with enough knowledge of the sport to make that determination.
