It's not like UFC doesnt have the talent/depth to do that. HW might be a little thin, but they could sign Monson, AA, hell maybe even Rizzo if his shit is together.

Dana dosent seem pissed of at all. Hes actually very serious about how it would happen. A man, with alot of cash, that would just stay over in the corner. While Shane wouldnt stay in the corner, the UFC would benefit from what he could do. And he does have alot of cash just laying around. http://forums.mmanews.com/general-mm...stake-ufc.html

No please, anyone but not JR. He is annoying, he thinks that he is god and knows everything. Its really awful when he says that fans should love and respect all the pro wrestlers...I mean PLEASE!!!!!!
Bring Bas Rutten, Stephen Quadros or Schiavello, they really know how to do a great job.

Having it in a ring will be the only difference from the UFC and why the hell would the UFC provide competition for itself? That's asinine, and don't any of you jokers say WEC because that's their lower weight class, and before it was their minor league. It would turn into a cluster fuck period it's a good idea in theory but i t would never work. Also it won't ever happen in Japan because the fucking Yakuza (and if you don't think so you're incorrect, and if you think i am then you NEED to prove it to me) will not let it happen unless they control it like they did before. So no Pride FC not ever. sorry it's a nice thought but it will never happen. Also until more evidence is provided that fuck-nuts is indeed buying part of the UFC I think this thread should be

They can USE the past of Pride as the backdrop, but market the message, "this is where it started- rough, and uncivilized, just like the early UFC. But now Pride, like the UFC, has evolved- but the 'warrior spirit' hasn't changed."
Heck, if I were marketing director, I would launch Pride as a semi-separate organization, and bring back tournaments (of course, meeting North American standards- which means no fighter can fight twice in one night). Talent-wise, the great thing about tournaments is that it allows good, but unknown fighters become known. Imagine Eddie Alvarez, but popular in North America because of a tournament instead of a tournament in Japan. I think it could be argued that tournaments allow casual fans to follow fighters easier. So you could bring in lesser known, but skillful talent, and it doesn't quite conflict with the UFC or WEC.
If we think about Pride as a brand, it still has some strength. All Zuffa needs to do is redirect that strength. A good president can direct that strength into profitability, which I think fuels speculation that Shane MacMahon could be involved. It's not SO unbelievable... It verges on smart.
