I think that's a good question. But i believe they sign contracts ans"independent contractors" if you will. therefore paying their taxes at the end of the year as opposed to getting employment insurance deducted, paying into pensions and actually federal taxes.
I could be wrong and I am only speculating. because is seems a contract in the UFc is absolutely USELESS unless you win. what good is a contract for 6 fights which binds you to a company but they can let you go anytime during the contract? It's bullshit from what I see. This again is speculation on my behalf.
The contracts aren't really contracts if they can "release" you from it at any time! It's not a contract it's signing yourself away to teh UFC until they don't like you anymore, and we all know how the UFC and Dana change their mind.....Like a 7 year old with ADD.
It makes me think..maybe that's why Fighters don't want to sign with thes UFC (Fedor)
That said, does anybody know how the UFC contracts are structured? any details?
My two cents.
