| Cain Velasquez v. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira Moved To UFC 109 Cain Velasquez v. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira Moved To UFC*109 - Bloody Elbow Quote:
MMA Mania says that this heavyweight showdown has been moved to UFC 109:
Former UFC interim heavyweight champion and mixed martial arts legend, Antonio Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogueira, is expected take on undefeated rising star Cain Velasquez at UFC 109, which is slated for Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Feb. 6, 2010.
Nogueira and and Velasquez were supposed to hook 'em up in the UFC 108 main event on Jan. 2, 2010; however; "Big Nog" came down with a serious case of staph infection, which forced him to withdraw from the bout.
This pretty much eliminates any chance that Cain steps in to face Junior dos Santos in the wake of Gabriel Gonzaga's staph infection. However, this fight is so good on paper and so interesting that it would be selfish of me to complain about it happening rather than Cain/dos Santos.

So does that mean A. Silva v. Belfort will still happen on that card?

Not saying it's only brazilians but it has been more of them lately. Fighters need to start taking a good shower before and after they train and clean their mats after rolling.
