All good points - but just because his submission's are better doesnt mean that GSP does not posses the speed, power and knowledge to keep from getting submitted which moves my thoughts up to 9-10 wins - it would be a 10-10 but Shields has that chance that all fighters have of pulling the win off.

only thing im certain of is that shield's jits is better than mine, but he must look down and see a 10inch golden rod if he thinks he beats gsp, he a good fighter but not even close to gsp's league, let see kos beats him likely, fitch beats him very likely, hughes would be an interesting even fight and alves would destroy him

Obvious mistake on my part mentioning Paulo Thiago. I was really unimpressed with his last fight at UFC 106. IMO, Jake has more problems with Alves than you seem to think he would. Not that Shields couldnt beat Alves, but I dont think he'd destroy him. Georges wins more than 6-7/10. At the very least 8/10. Ya gotta throw a couple wins to chance.

I guess I just havent seen enough to make me put Shields up there enough to have him in a "dream match" with anyone. When I think "dream match", I think Anderson/GSP, Anderson/Machida, Fedor/Brock, Fedor/Anderson, etc. IMO, GSP/Shields sticks out like a sore thumb in that list. Good matchup? Absolutely. Dream match? eh......

To say GSP has better jui jistu than Shields is dumb. But GSP is good enough to avoid or power out of anything Jake will throw at him.

wow...I personally see GSP mauling Shields. Striking, followed by take downs and elbows, he would over whelm him i think. GSP tdd is really good too, so no way he becomes blanketed in this fight. I hope it happens. War rush
