I love Maia, but when he got popped, he was out like a light. If he wasn't out, he could've tried to pull guard or SOMETHING, but he was on dreamstreet.

I like Maia but there was no way he wouldve recovered in enough time to "tangle" Marquardt if he had gone for subsequent punches. He was rocked hard enough where he wouldve lost by TKO (punches) if Marquardt hadnt stopped himself

Sometimes guys just need to accept that on that night they were not the better fighter. It happens, get over it, stop looking at "what if's..." and prepare for the next fight.

He didn't go to sleep, legs and arms all tensed up, but he was KO'd. It took him this many months to think that he wasn't KOd? Did it knock something loose upstairs?
I hope he is just saying this stuff to convince himself, cause most of the public ain't gonna buy it.

He wasn't KO'd cold, but there was nothing he could have done if Nate had decided to pounce. It would've just gotten ugly, quick.
