as far as chuck goes, vera could beat chuck without much of a problem. he would have an easier time with sylvia than with chuck and I think he could take out sylvia too. vera has better stand up than chuck (say what you want) and he has a way better ground game.

don't you see what happens when you put an excellently rounded fighter against two champions with holes in there game.
vera's hardest part of this whole thing is how he plans to deal with sylvia's reach. I don't have much doubt as to whether or not vera can beat chuck.
There simply nobody like vera in the ufc. I'd almost compare him with shogun.

IMO. Tim got lucky in the second fight with Arlovski, weak chin or not. Tim came out ahead on points in the third fight, but that's due to his reach. I think if both of them went at it with all they had instead of playing Tim's game where he uses his reach to get more hits for the decision, AA would usually beat Tim. Tim's a better fighter than some people give him credit for, but he really doesn't deserve to be the champ. Hopefully Vera wins.

Another guy jumping on Vera's bandwagon. All of sudden no one can beat him now? Get real. And comparing him to shogun? That's just crazy talk. Shogun beats him on the ground and standing up. They're not even close.
