I still think he can do it. brandon vera is the man. He could beat just about anyone they put infront of him. He is a complete fighter. it is only time before he takes the HW and LHW belt (assuming ufc doesn't sign a top level HW or something).

The guy doesn't even have a belt and your talking about 2 belts???

lets say he beats Sylvia, are you also saying he beats AA and Chuck???

Vera just stated in an interview that he is not concerned with winning both belts anymore. He just wants to concentrate on his fights and one day be known as the best in the world.

I think he beats Sylvia, but two belts? He can't beat Chuck, and who knows how he'll do against Arlovsky in a defense of his HW belt. The kids good, but he's not the second coming.

It's more likely we'll see Chuck and Sylvia face each other first. With Tito being the only money contender for the LH and the Arlovsky/Sylvia suck-fest finally over, it seems the only logical draw for the upcoming year.

There was talk about Chuck moving up right before Arlovsky dropped the title. THAT would have been interesting.

I think that his body type suits the LHW class more than HW. I can see him being far more dominant under 205 than above it.

i just don't see it happening. the guy is a great fighter.....i will say that much, but c'mon! i think that he will beat tim and become the hw champion, but will not have the glory too long, for mr. pit bull arlovski will come in and give him a savage beating to reclaim his belt. maybe then he'll drop weight and try the lhw. but lets be rational here. 2 belts @ once would be insain.....and you'd have to be the baddest mo-fo around. i don't think that is brandon.

I see AA taking out Vera in the HW but I see him having better luck in the LHW as people have already said. I see him matching up pretty well against Chuck. In any case, mention of Vera having two belts is quite absurd at this point.
