I think its going to come down to Maynard v. Diaz for the next shot at Penn. If Maynard wins, he gets the next shot. If he loses then Edgar will get the next shot. I can understand Edgar's argument for a title shot with wins over Sherk, Franca, Griffin and Fisher. But you have to remember Maynard dominated Edgar for 3 rounds and he has not lost yet. If Maynard beats Diaz, then I think Edgar should fight Stevenson. Stevenson offers a tough match-up and if he can win its another feather in his cap and if he loses then he really stood no chance at winning the title anyway.
