As has been suggested, go the vids part of MMANews. There are some VERY VERY good fights from both UFC and Pride. Ir's a good idea to get to know fighters in both organizations. Good luck and have fun on this forum.

Thanks for the correction, I had read it in an article and just got the facts twisted. Now I can post it correctly and look like less of a bastard.

I actually prefer watching early to late 90's MMA over MMA today.

Frank Shamrock vs Enson Inoue
Frank Shamrock vs Tito Ortiz
Don Frye vs Tank Abbott
Dan Severn's mustache becoming a staple in MMA.
Ron Van Clief being the awesomest old dude around.
Kimo actually being somewhat relevant.
Ken ruling it in Pancrase.
Pancrase being absolutely awesome from 1994 to 1996.

I also dig 2002 era Pride, because of Don Frye becoming this old guy who ended up having surprisingly great matches with Shamrock & Takayama. Griffin vs Bonnar wishes it could be like Frye vs Takayama.
