|  Hughes. Got kicked in the groin?
After watching this video courtesy of Hartexe, I concluded that Matt did NOT get hit in the groin on the second kick. He went down due to pain in his legs but took time to recover from it anyways. Now, I have people here who claim that despite watching the clip, Matt DID in fact get hit in the groin. This matter was concluded on another thread but was i wrong? What the hell are some of these people hearing? Voice in their heads?

I will tell you what I KNOW, not think.
He never stated the kick missed groin. He simply said it didn't hurt his groin nearly as much as it did his leg. Georges hit a nerve which sent pain shooting down his leg. Simple as that.
Had he said, "The kick completely missed my groin," we would have nothing to debate. But nothing of that sort was ever said.

The kick pushed the cup into his groin which hit a nerve as it shot a pain throghout BOTH of his legs. This is also Hughes we're talking about so do you think if he ever did cheat he would come clean about it? Doubtfully and given his explaination of the 2nd kick, it is clear that it shot the cup ito his groin and it hit a nerve sending a shock like stinging pain throughout his legs.

Thank you, this is pretty much the exact same thing i said. It is my belief that the thread starter needs to replace the batteries in his hearing aid.

now that is sad, if a kick sent him to the mat then GSP should of been able to pounce on him, he acted like it was a kick in the nuts, that is just unfair and weak

as much as i hate hughes it prolly did hurt alot...its never got him in the nuts but it prolly hurt....but i do agree with the being able to jump on him but where the kick was it was easy to hide as a nut shot so he could get a breather

If the kick did hit his cup and send a shock down his nerve then he should be allowed to recover. Besides GSP like most fighters backed off when it kind of looked like a low shot, he wouldn't have punced anyways. Only guy I can think of that would take advantage of a shot like that would be Liddell.

He paused after he said the first part, which leads me to believe he didn't get hit in the groin at all. Those are some tricky words though.
And by the way, where are you guys getting this "the cup hit a nerve" thing from? He didn't say anything about that at all. He might have just gotten hit in the leg ONLY and that caused him to go down.

What's up with this logic? He said he went down because his leg hurt, right? So why should he have time to recover from that? His nuts were fine. He went down because of his leg. Moreover, he acted as if he got hit in the nuts!
